Our daughter has a genetic disorder that affects her gross motor skills. When we started with her therapist, Becky at First Steps our daughter was 15 months old and was just starting to scoot and was unable to climb up a surface level change of even a few inches. Within weeks of our first appointment she began to slowly attempt climbing on different levels and over a few months gained enough strength to stand on her own. Highly recommend First Step Pediatric Therapy. Karissa is a very talented PT and demonstrated tremendous skill and patience working with children and making sessions fun. Our child really enjoyed and benefitted from each session.
I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care provided by Karissa and staff at First Step. She worked wonders with our baby, helping him overcome body tension post tongue tie release and achieve incredible progress. Her patience, expertise, and gentle approach made each session a positive experience. My baby is a pretty fussy one, but she always made us feel at ease. I highly recommend First Step to any parent looking for a dedicated and skilled pediatric physical therapist.
