Everyone working at Eye Associates was very friendly and efficient at both the Kirkland campus and the Ballard Surgical facility. I was especially pleased with my doctor, Nathan Wilbanks. His pre-surgery exams (two cataracts), the surgical procedures themselves, and post-op exams were done extremely professionally. In addition Dr. Wilbanks has a wonderful manner about him. Results were even better than I expected (laser-assisted standard lenses).
I want to recognize the staff here—they are consistently busy, yet remain professional, focused, and diligent. Every visit, it’s clear they are working hard to provide quality care under pressure, and they absolutely deserve five stars.
One thing I’ve observed, however, is that delays or frustrations in the waiting area often seem to stem from misunderstandings about insurance coverage or benefits. It might be helpful if patients come in with a clearer understanding of their own plans, as this could reduce tension and make the process smoother for everyone.

I was very impressed with the knowledge that Dr. Alex Kim expressed when answering all my questions. He was very kind and professional. He was also on time for my appointment which also impressed me.
