Technology Unlimited is a Brother Authorized Service Center. My Brother printer was yielding a "hardware" error code ("Print Unable 32"). TU quoted $40+tax to investigate, and if I elected to proceed with the repair this would be credited against a $90 labor charge ( plus parts). Two days later, I got a call that the printer was ready, and the total charge would be...$40+tax!!! Apparently, some adhesive from a mis-fed sticker got on the sensor shield door, and it needed to be cleaned to operate properly. I appreciate that they completed this simple repair without charging me a full hour for labor. Additionally, Susan was a pleasure to deal with.

Technology Unlimited is listed as one of two Brother-certified service shops near Seattle, so I gave them a call today because my Brother printer decided that it hated printing in black, which is clearly a problem. The woman that answered the phone was great! She gave me a price estimate, but then suggested that I try cleaning a specific part of the printer with q-tips and rubbing alcohol as the ink can get blocked in that area and freeze up. Lo and behold, it worked! She saved me easily $100+ as well as a ton of driving and having to take time off of work. So thankful.
