Matan came to our home to inspect both our attic and crawl space. Where the attic was declared a simple trapping exercise, the crawl space (which we knew) was infested and rank. Rats had been burrowing down under the foundation and up into the crawl space. I could do nothing to stop them…Northwest Crawl Space removed all of the insulation, and vapor barrier. They sanitized, installed new insulation (including piping) regraded, compacted, provided new vapor barrier, rebar, and most important, the new Rat Slab. NW crawl space gave us reasonable price, good communication, accommodating our 2-stage situation, and finished our crawl space which completely get rid of the fault smell and make our house warm again. Highly recommended and will use them for our future attic work again!

We purposely waited 4 months after our attic and crawl space were updated (June 2024) by the folks at Northwest Crawl Space and Attic to report on their efforts. Prior to the attic remediation, the summer sun brought ceiling heat into our bedrooms and other second floor spaces. After the 20-year + old attic insulation was removed and replaced, an attic fan installed, and all air leakage areas plugged and insulated, we no longer felt the second floor room ceilings leak warm air into the bedrooms! That alone was enough to lower our cooling costs from June to September! Over the years we'll probably recoup the costs of the attic upgrades by not having the heat pump... read full review
