PC Fix replaced my mainboard, CPU, and RAM for $412 after tax. They use a ticket system to update you on their progress, and they communicated clearly and consistently with me about what work needed to be done and how long they thought it would take. Hopefully I don't need my computer worked on anytime soon, but if I do, I'll definitely be coming back here.
This place is amazing! I needed a new battery and when I went in he looked at my computer and told me I also needed to replace another part which I agreed to. Then a couple of days later I got a message saying that the other part was fine and just needed a few screws tightened. I got my computer back in just a week and was only charged for the cost of the battery and an installation fee. They were communicative, honest, and worked quickly. I couldn't recommend them more!
They were fast and very communicative even with Christmas, New Years and inclement weather. I wished they would have wrapped the service fee into their final cost, but I understand this technical work is time consuming and they need to make a profit and pay their employees well. It was more than I should have spent for a 6 year old laptop, but that's on me.
