Shawn is a hair whisperer. Three years ago, I responded to an ad from a woman who posted beautiful photos of hair "she" colored and styled. Lets just say, I was lucky to have any hair at all when she was finished. The mop on top was beyond damaged; breaking, tangled and burnt. Shawn agreed to consult and came up with a repair plan. Fast forward to 2021... Mick and Shawn have really stepped up to the challenges of covid. The shop is super clean, products are excellent, and I can't recommend the Color Box enough. No matter your hair, Shawn can work his magic to make it the best it can be. I wish I had never left Whidbey, and if I do manage to make it back, I will definitely return to the Color Box! Thanks Gentlemen!

Top-notch stylists, friendly, inclusive vibe, very professional without being snooty or condescending, AND: some of the best Covid-conscious precautions I've seen in a personal services business here on the island. My wife and I won't go anywhere else now. It can be hard to get an immediate appointment, but it's worth the wait, just to feel safer. Other shops around town might give lip-service to safety protocols, (one shop only put on masks when they saw me at the door, and when I looked inside, they had their dogs running loose in the shop. I walked away), but the folks at Color Box don't play: they sanitize in and out, use gloves when appropriate, disinfect between each customer and greet customers outside. Even with all that, they still manage to make you feel well-cared for. Oh: they offer free touch-ups and trims, to keep you looking spiffy. Time to make my next appointment...

Totally happy customer. Great staff, friendly, clean and lovely place. Pricing is good. I'm getting less complex as I get older so I'm not doing color anymore, so this is a simple cut, but I, and my wife, are happy with the job they do for me.
