“Even after showing the barber a picture for reference he still didn’t cut it the way I wanted but it wasn’t a bad cut either can’t complain there. The hot towel deal made up for the mistake I personally think the language barrier plays a role when it comes down to explaining what you want done. 4 stars was given for not cutting my hair the way I wanted it all in all I am happy and well he is not a bad barber it’s the language barrier and his lack of fully understanding what you want done. $20 dollars is not a bad price I feel it is fair“

“Five stars for a great affordable queer owned shop that knows their way around a razor AND scissors which is great because a lot of places are only good with one or the other. All three stylists here are great- I have personally had my hair cut by both Nae and Georgette - I will go back to see any of them. Georgette did a great job with my husband's hair as well. A very no nonsense cut, no included wash but I prefer to use my own products anyway - and the price is so much better than other places in the area. I love supporting local places like this. Parking can be a bit rough but circle around and you can get an angle in spot or park parallel a block or two up. Also if you have curls and a pixie- I have to say, Georgette styled my hair really well- whipped out the spray bottle and diffuser when I said no product and did a spot on job.“

“Read the entire reviewElvis cut my sister’s hair and he did a great job. Showed him what she was wanting and he did an excellent job! So 5 stars for Elvis he was great.Tim cut my husband’s hair and unfortunately it wasn’t the same experience. Showed him a 360 view of a two block cut he was looking for and he unfortunately gave him a bowl cut. After the cut he asked me if I like it. I said no there were some elements of the cut I didn’t like and he missed the mark on. Tim says “well. Sorry about that”. And walked away. He didn’t offer to fix the cut or do more to enhance the look of the cut. My husband said “he doesn’t care let’s go”. So we left. It was also a full service cut, and I tipped 20$. So it wasn’t like we stiffed him either.Unfortunately won’t be returning to Tim for cuts.“

“I have been going to this barber shop for the past six months, absolutely love Helen. I normally get skin fades and love how blended it always comes out. She charges fairly and is cheaper than the PX. Lately I’ve been keeping my hair tapered instead of going all the way to a zero.
