First of all I love the Front Desk Staff at Whatcom Vet. Shannon in particular is so warm and welcoming over the phone or in person…she’s a joy to speak with! We live on Lummi Island and I was hoping to get my dog in for a much needed dental cleaning prior to our dry dock or ferry maintenance. Shannon & Dr. Johnson made it happen! Dr. Johnson called me after the procedure and went over how everything went… as my dog had a considerable amount of teeth that had to be removed. She was also very warm and reassuring about how and what to feed my dog….explaining what medication she would be taking and for how long to expect sensitivity with her teeth. My dog is doing great now and her remaining teeth look beautiful! I appreciate all the efforts they went through for us!
Whatcom Veterinary Hospital is an amazing clinic. All employees are professional, respectful and nice. Dr. Johnson is the best Veterinarian hands down. I travel almost an hour just for her to see my pets. When my Peanut passed away years ago, the whole clinic was there for me and helped me with the after care.
Dr. Lisa Donaldson first treated my cat Bella for Solensia and later cared for her when she was diagnosed with diabetes. She is truly the best veterinarian we have ever experienced—calm, compassionate, and a delight to listen to. She has an exceptional ability to explain even the most difficult and complicated situations clearly and accurately, which gives you confidence and peace of mind during stressful times.
The clinical and front-desk staff at Whatcom Veterinary Hospital are also extremely polite, welcoming, and accommodating, especially to new patients.
