Caring and attentive. Whether you have a sick pet, a question about unusual behavior, spay or neuter, check ups etc., this clinic can help. We learned how much they care when they helped us manage the passing of one of our older cats. I have nothing but appreciation and respect for the vet and team who work here. Highly recommend.

It’s taken me some time to write this review—not because it isn’t five stars, but because the experience itself was such a difficult one. At the beginning of summer, we learned that our family dog, Taz, likely had cancer and would need to be put down. We split our time between Whatcom and Pierce County, but Ferndale Veterinary has always been our favorite clinic.
Unfortunately, we first received the news from another vet, where it was delivered abruptly and without much compassion. They even pressured us to put Taz down immediately. Heartbroken, we decided the very next morning to drive north with Taz for a second opinion from Dr. Johner.
Nice veterinary hospital. On the day I went though, my phone led me there and I had trouble finding it as there wasn't a sign! Just on the glass front door. It's a big old house if you need to find it
