Educating customers has more value than running around like crazy and applying products. As far as being an employee. The appreciation is gone immediately when it turns out the employment comes to an end. All the talk about "one big family" seems to be out the window when there is no benefit for the company anymore. Accrued pto will not be paid even when the resignation date is agreed to and is covered by accrued pto, yet the equipment is turned in before the pto starts (since keeping equipment and not using it is pointless, especially when leaving a company), the date of termination of employment is simply set to the date of returning the equipment and the former employee gets told that "company policy is NOT to pay out pto after ending of employment". very shady practice when it comes to employees leaving. of course none of it will be even remotely mentioned at the time of starting the employment.
