Costco Vision Center offers quality eye exams and helpful staff. Many customers have praised Dr. Rhee for his friendly and informative approach, noting his dedication to understanding vision issues. Dr. Schuhmann also receives high recommendations for her eye exams. However, it is important to note that Costco only sells plastic lenses, which may lead some customers to seek glass lenses elsewhere. Overall, the center is recognized for its caring service.
Anthony and his team have gone over and above to help me get what I need and fixed an initial hiccup. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the limited selection available. More colors, more fashionable and fun frames are needed to complete this eyewear store. This is clearly a shortfall of Costco’s corporate management, since it has been the same experience in every one of their stores forever.
I wonder what the experience would be like if every store could choose their own selection from most suppliers, and not be confined to the el-cheapo deals Costco strikes with its suppliers.
My wife and I have been using Dr. Rhee for over 11 years and have recommended him to all of our friends. We both had RK surgery on our eyes which makes it difficult to get a prescription because your vision fluctuates while you look through the phoropter. But he takes the time necessary and always gets it right. We like that he is very professional but yet kind and humble and answers all of our questions. Its tough when your getting older and your vision keeps changing but at least we have him tracking our vision and watching out for us. Costco also provides him with all the latest equipment that others didn't have. And you can order your glasses at the optical department when your done and save money there.
Had my first exam at Costco with Dr. Walter Rhee, and he was amazing! I’ve worn glasses and contacts for years and this was one of the few times a Dr has been so welcoming. Definitely would recommend to go here! And you can’t beat $130 for glasses prescription + Contact fitting!
