I randomly stopped to try Edmonds Vision Care to take a look at their selection of frames. I was warmly welcomed into the office by one of the Doctors who happened to at the front reception desk when I arrived. He even got me started by giving me some general info., listening to my needs, and taking me to the glasses section that was my frame size. They let me look around and take my time trying on several pairs of glasses until I found the perfect frames. I appreciated not being hounded, or pressured while I was looking, but someone was still close by to answer any questions that I had. Like others have said, I was really put off but their customer service and strict policies. The appointment only policy was made clear to me, to the point of rudeness, when I tried to stop in to look at the frames. I made an appointment and got glasses, and they came really quickly, which I was happy about and why I gave three stars for the review. However, a few weeks later I needed my new glasses adjusted and thought to stop by, but knowing their strict policy called to see if I could come by. But no, they told me I needed an appointment and they didn't have any appointments until the following week. But, they are not the only vision place so I found another place... read full review

Dishonest doctors. We scheduled a contact fitting for our child but when we arrived they performed another vision screening even though we had recently done a screening there. We then scheduled another contact fitting. We could not successfully put in contacts so we scheduled a 3rd visit. Not successful there either. Scheduled yet another visit (all requiring missing school) and they cancelled the appointment due to employee sickness even though the technician for our appointment was healthy and available. Apparently they wanted to make money from other customers instead of fulfilling their commitment to do contact fitting. ($180 for contact fitting). Overall, poor communication... read full review
