Love love love my provider, not one bad thing to say. However the call department need to step their game up and maybe have some humor my last two experiences were pretty crappy wish there was an easier way so you dont have to go through 3 different people who dont know you to get scheduled.

Chas actually provides service to our community. I'm not being glib or trite when I say: They put the care BACK into Healthcare. I have had numerous conditions affect my health over the last 5 years. I have a nurse that follows my chart and reaches out to assure I'm getting appropriate care. It's not intrusive, I appreciate the calls 1-2 days after a hospital discharge...I always have questions about something at that point and now I get answers! I can't recommend Chas enough, I've had great experiences whether it's the Dr's, Nurses, MA, PA...and I could write a book about the incredible benefits of their pharmacy and staff. They're not corporate so they actually can resolve any issues within a day. I've never waited more than 15 minutes for a Rx. Ever. Remember that the next time you're waiting for Walgreens to fill a prescription that they sent you a text indicating it was filled and waiting for your arrival!

Had sudden tooth pain, was able to get seen same day within 2 hours of calling. They got me in turns out over half my tooth was gone and they were able to pull it out cuz I had to go on a cruise the very next day. No way I could survive that week with a tooth like that. They were quick kind fastest dental service I’ve ever received honestly!

I had a really disappointing experience with this dental office. I first called in early February due to unbearable tooth pain and was told the soonest available appointment was in late April. I understand that offices can get busy and that sometimes delays are unavoidable, so I waited despite being in pain for two months until my scheduled appointment.
On the day of the appointment, I called and was told I had been removed from the schedule without notice. That was frustrating, but the woman I spoke with was very kind and helped me get rescheduled for the next day, which I appreciated.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn’t able to make that appointment. I called two hours ahead to try and reschedule, and the person I spoke to this time was noticeably cold and unempathetic. I was told I’d be marked as a no-show and would likely not be seen on the date I requested a week later.
I get that people are human, and mistakes happen. But what made this whole experience so upsetting wasn’t the scheduling issues it was the lack of compassion I received while trying to deal with a painful situation. I really hope this feedback encourages more empathy and understanding toward patients who are already struggling when they reach out.

Shelby Rush is the most unprofessional, disrespectful, condescending doctor I have ever met. Terrible first impression all around for you guys at Chas really. I was getting over the flu and had some sharp pain in my right lung so I decided to seek help. Traditionally your doctor enters the room and says “Hello, I’m doctor Rush, nice to meet you, I hear you’re having trouble with (such and such)”— Shelby enters and the very first thing she says is “It smells like Marijuana!” To which I replied “Well, I’m freshly showered, getting over the flu and here for lung pain.. so..” HOW RUDE. Be professional. Your provider immediately backpedaled with the defense “I have many patients that work on the pot farms and whatnot so occasionally it’ll smell on the clothes.” Again, we are not focused on why I am visiting your clinic, and now we are discussing Shelby Rush’s other patients personal lives and professions— that is not why I came. I expressed that her initial comment and first impression was pretty much right out the window because it was rude, and lead with the accusation that I was high. I do not care about the legality or anything, YOU ARE A DOCTOR, be professional, I used the analogy that if a patient of hers works for a brewery does she walk in saying “It smells like alcohol.”— I imagine not, she would be implying THAT person is intoxicated. I honestly just shut up and listened to her speak throughout a wasted hour at your clinic. Shelby Rush also expressed to me “I treat all of my patients the same.” I just don’t think she is self aware of her words, actions, lack of bedside manor, and even medical advice. When she said she treats all her patients the same, I felt concerned more so— If I felt this horrible on my first visit, is Shelby really THIS rude and condescending to everyone? I still feel pain in my right lung. She just treated me like a stupid dramatic teenager and insisted “It’s not cancer, at your age it wouldn’t be cancer” I expressed to her that I was sure it wasn’t! But I am also aware of other respiratory illnesses and viruses that can develop and make someone more susceptible to such serious diseases. I ask her that as well, are there not other respiratory illnesses that could cause larger issues for a person in the future? Am I right or wrong? She hastily replied “You’re wrong.” I was just ready for the appointment to end. Absolutely no help! I’m not a grumpy old man that’s hard to please. I needed help. I except the help when I need it, but something is seriously wrong when a 26 year old struggles to form a bond with a doctor and find a DECENT primary provider. Chas, you disappoint me.

Alright I will start off by saying this clinic USED to be amazing. Now it's all about how many patients they can get in , in a day. You get maybe 15mins with your provider. I really lost respect for this clinic after my provider called and told me I had cancer asked if I needed counseling or someone to talk to , I said no I'll be alright . we hung up, I figured after a day or so she would let me know what the next steps are, NO. A week later I call an ask what's going on an they tell me oh your provider is on vacation is there something we can help you with? Told her I didn't know what I'm supposed to do now that they say I have cancer? I'm scared AF and my provider just left me high and dry. So the nice nurse lady apologized and said she would help me get it all figured out THANK YOU NURSE! So got the tumor removed and started chemo, finished that so I'm supposed to have a bone scan an mammogram ect just to keep up on it make sure Im cancer free my provider at chas says we'll your bones should be fine your young so I'm not to worried about that and said my oncologist would take care of the rest. Fast forward to july she sends me in for an ultrasound no one calls me for a week or two so I call to check on results nurse says your liver an spleen are enlarged just keep an eye on it an make a follow up with your primary, cool she tries getting me set up for an appointment she is booked up until September 18th okay I'll take it, the day before my appointment they call an cancel saying she is on leave a little longer so they need to reschedule for November 7th . Yeah no I'm done playing this song and dance with this clinic. Even the dentist's are bullshit ,the lady who numbs you up is amazing though . went in to get a filling they are almost done drilling everything and the power goes out the generators aren't giving enough power to do anything so they are trying to finish my tooth with the little power they have , needless to say I still have tooth pain in that tooth.

Just sharing my father's experience from when he took my mentally ill mother here earlier this week. Background- my mother has dementia and epilepsy on top of other extreme health issues. She hasn't been able to visit a doctors office or any public places at all, for the last 2 years because her dementia has made her somewhat intolerable (as it does - anyone that deals with dementia/mentally ill patients understands this). My father was finally able to get my mother to attend the doctors this week, but to my surprise I got a phone call stating that the nurses/lab technicians at the facility were not properly trained at all with how to handle elderly mental patients. This is unacceptable. Despite my mother being intolerable due to her condition, it is the nurses JOB to not antagonize and demean patients. My father told me they were not only going back and forth with my mother, but making rude comments and eye contact as well. I find this extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I understand mistakes happen, so perhaps more adequate training for appropriate responses and protocols for dealing with such patients NEEDS to happen in order to avoid future issues with this behavior. All patients despite their conditions have the right to appropriate care.
