Went to Fearn in regard to a car accident. He was very welcoming and helpful when I asked if he took 3rd party claims. I saw him quite a bit after an accident and stopped when my injury did not get better. First off, now that I have been seeing another Chiropractor, Fearn does not take his time with the patient. He rushes through the adjustment and doesn't allow you to relax and breath. You are in and out within 15-20 minutes. I have been going to Cloud for prenatal care for about 6 months now and the holistic care you receive at other clinics is far better than what you will receive at Fearn. I have been dealing with the insurance claim for 2.5 years now. It is not an easy task when they jerk you around especially when the car you were a passenger in only had liability. Needless to say, I have not settled. I finally found out that I could put a claim in with my own personal car insurance, so I did. They are now going to cover all my personal injury claims for the accident. I was so happy to hear that I could get the clinic paid and I called them right away. Mind you, in the entire 2.5 years I have had this claim opened and had accrued a bill from Fearn, I NEVER once received a bill. NOT ONCE. When I called to give Fearn my PIP info. so his office could get paid, he told me that he had just sent it to collections. How can a bill be sent to collections if the patient has never once received a bill? Do not see this man. He is not a good businessman. All he had to do was call or send a bill and tell me that he couldn't wait for the claim to close. I would have settled up and put the bill in for reimbursement in the end. I am not a person who doesn't pay their bills. I am a responsible adult and would have paid if he had communicated.
If you are hard of hearing I would NOT recommend Dr. Fearn for any treatment plan. He is insensitive and non-supportive. My husband is very hard of hearing and does not understand conversations due to voices being muffled due to the need to wear masks. My husband requested my going with him to ensure he could understand any conversations. Dr. Fearn DENIED his request. I translate for him and made it clear that he does not understand many voices, especially with masks, and was still denied access to translate. Dr.'s claim was due to Covid-19 I would not be allowed. Understanding the Covid-19 protocol, I know his claim was incorrect. I was wearing a mask, am not symptomatic, and would be standing just outside of the room.I called the clinic and spoke to Dr. Fearn. His attitude was less than interested in the situation and continued to be dismissive. The results ended with Dr. Fearn maintaining that my husband understood their conversations in spite of the fact that my husband clearly stated to me that he did not understand much of what was said due to the mask and Dr. Fearn talking too fast. The outcome has created my belief that Dr. Fearn is not compassionate to those who have hearing disabilities. If you are hard of hearing I would NOT recommend Dr. Fearn for any treatment plan. He is insensitive and non-supportive.
