It's always a 5 star when visiting Dr. Shirman & Karen. They have the best and knowable visiting "upcoming" nurses from U.W. Even Dr. Shirmans dog is a joy. I would highly recommend this office. Right next to Highline ( I know) Hospital. Comfortable setting. Dr. is really listens to you. Never feel rushed. Love them

With most private practice’s being bought out by large corporations we are eternally grateful to have found Dr. Shirman,. Beyond his years of experience and knowledge, his interpersonal skills, treating you as a human being, treating you the patient as a whole, his authentic empathetic nature and a plethora of more positive things we could say, cannot be matched at any corporation. it will be a very sad and devastating day when he is no longer in practice and only large corporations are available. If there was a 10 star rating we would give him 100 stars.

I have been seeing Dr. Shirman since I was 3 or 4 years old & will never switch primary care doctors unless I move states & have to. Dr. Shirman truly cares about his patients & goes the extra mile with them. He'll sit & listen as long as you need him to, cares about his patients concerns, & gets to know his patients outside of their medical history even remembering details they've shared about their lives. He's extremely knowledgeable, incredibly good at what he does, & very friendly & personable. He makes going to the dr's feel like grabbing coffee with an old friend you haven't seen in a while. Also, although sometimes an appointment needs to be scheduled somewhat in advance, if you have an urgent situation, his receptionist Sue will do what she can to get you in as soon as possible. Seriously could go on & on about how great of a doctor & person he is & what a great staff he has, definitely would recommend him.
