This CPA firm was one of the biggest mistakes I made just an awful experience. They did the bare minimum, with no communication and their fees were outrageous. I would not recommend them under any circumstance.

A few years back they did some work for my mom. Incompetent would be a generous statement. During the process, my 80+ year old mom got a call from one of the staff accountants asking about some notes on her documents WRITTEN BY HAWTHORNE. They then lost some documents which we had to get new copies. Finally they've been trying to re-bill my mom for $75 for the next three years even though she owes them nothing. We've complained and they said they'd fix it, but we just got another bill. Avoid this business!

They must have some faithful customers they pay attention to, but it wasn't me. Left after 13 years of trying to get them to pay attention to a simple Special Needs Trust for my sister. Oh well.
