My 8yo was diagnosed with binocular instability/convergence insufficiency. Her eyes were not working together to create one image, to put it simply, so she was seeing blurry and in double most of the time. It was greatly affecting her school work. Last year, I noticed her turning her head a lot, to read or watch tv with just one eye. Plus, she was complaining of tired eyes and headaches, unable to read for more than a few minutes. I thought she just needed reading glasses.
