“By far the best dentist’s office I’ve been to, and the first one I’ve liked enough to take time to leave a review. Dr. Jolley lives up to his name and is cheerful and pleasant to talk to. He’s never tried to upsell me on expensive add-ons I don’t need, even though he offers them if desired for cosmetic reasons, and even told me one in particular wouldn’t be worth it for me when other dentists tried to push it, saving me hundreds of dollars.

You spend the most time with the hygienists though, and they also couldn’t be any better. Always pleasant, very perceptive to when you need a break, and very gentle even while working quickly. I have a history of sensitive gums and after cleanings every 6 months over the last several years I’ve never experienced any pain with them. I’d continue driving to them if I moved out of the area.“

“I've been going to Light Dental Studios for 11 years. I started out with Dr. Poyfair in Lakewood and he was absolutely amazing, along with all of the staff. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. He is absolutely hilarious and made me feel so at ease. He always remembered conversations and details about my daughter and partner, and seemed so engaged. I couldn't voice a single complaint! He even went above and beyond giving me a starbucks gift card when my lip was cracked during a crown procedure. (If you ever have the chance to visit, make sure you request they play Katy Perry... it's his favorite! jk (Sorry Dr. Poyfair!)) Last year I transitioned to the Puyallup location when I moved and experienced the same great treatment. Tonight I met with a newer Dr., Dr. Lee, who was so incredible. I came in for a crown, but had some other things take place between scheduling the appointment and arriving. She genuinely listened to my concerns, shifted course swiftly without forcing me into the original plan. (I also want to say the staff who greeted me relayed my initial message without any sense of annoyance that I completely derailed the original intention- they were so helpful and sweet!). Dr. Lee and her assistant, Ally, were so kind and gentle (they make a great pair!!!). I was also able to reschedule my original crown for 2 days from now. I highly recommend Light Dental Studios to anyone who may have a fear of dentists, or a seasoned pro like myself (ha!) who has high expectations which have been exceeded by all staff at both offices I've visited. “To start: I have terrible dental anxiety. I was referred out by my regular dentist to get my wisdom teeth removed and I am much older than the standard demographic for this procedure. I had all four of them extracted here by Dr. Gazarov recently.
Everyone I’ve had the pleasure of talking to along this course has been wonderful; from the front desk staff, to Dr. Gazarov’s amazing assistants (thank you Deena and Ilissa!) to the doctor himself, everyone has been very helpful and kind throughout the entire experience. They also have some super rad technology at this clinic- easiest X-ray I’ve ever had! I was booked quickly and when I had an issue, it was responded to immediately. I was particularly nervous because Dr. G is not a permanent fixture at this office, but rather independently contracted at several clinics. Because of that, I had a really difficult time finding reviews about him anywhere and I like to read reviews to know what I’m getting myself into. He’s fantastic, I’d recommend him to anyone!
