Really great cut and it was nice to have more time for the detail work (tapering and shaving the hairline) versus being rushed out. It was a fun conversation that happened to be accompanied by a haircut. Thanks, Diane.

There are certain places that "make" a community. The Barbershop at Fairhaven is one of those places. Diane is a larger than life character who has become a great friend. I've been going here for about five years now, and it's the type of place I would drive back to if I ever moved away. I highly recommend this shop, not only for the experience of being in a classic barbershop in a fun part of town, but also (and importantly) for the great haircut!

Diane is awesome! She's friendly, easy to talk to, and gives a killer haircut in a very reasonable amount of time. I'm stoked to have found a barber in Bellingham that I actually enjoy going to!

From Barber Shop At Fairhaven

We know from history that many a Barbershop has dressed the streets of Fairhaven, the Historical District of Bellingham. Here we present a bit of yesteryear in the 21st century. Most days you will find two dogs asleep in the corner and two or three barbers clipping away, all the while discussing the days' news, local events, or personal exchange (only your Barber knows for sure!). As you retire into our 1929 barbers chair, placing your feet upon the foot rest, your haircut is personally delivered with your needs and lifestyle in mind. Standard haircuts include (for men) a hot-lather neck shave & shoulder massage, and women cuts are finished with the shoulder massage as well.
