I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. We had booked two appointments at the same time in advance, but the front desk told us that because they were under the same booking, we would have to be served one after the other by the same stylist. This made no sense, and it completely ignored the fact that we had scheduled and confirmed our spots. To make matters worse, while we were waiting, the salon allowed walk-in customers to be served before us, even though we had appointments. When we questioned this, the front desk was dismissive and rude instead of trying to help resolve the situation. I cannot understand why a business would prioritize walk-ins over confirmed appointments. It not only wasted our time but also made us feel disrespected. What made this worse was that the walk-in customers who were prioritized raises serious concerns about fairness and possible discrimination. Overall, this experience was unprofessional, frustrating, and deeply disappointing. I would not recommend this salon to anyone who values their time, respect, and equal treatment.

Would not bring your curly haired kiddo here- i have never seen a stylist brush out dry curls and brush against the pattern of hair/ I don’t think there’s a reason a hairstylist should ask for a photo if they can’t replicate it. I just wanted my son’s hair cut a little lower and cleaned up. Now he looks like he’s joining the military.

Miss Rachel did an amazing job cutting my son’s hair! He’s usually very difficult during haircuts.lots of crying and not wanting anyone to touch his hair. This time, he still didn’t fully cooperate.no crying, but he didn’t really let her cut easily either. Still, she was so patient and handled it like a pro. She made him feel comfortable and somehow got it done quickly and nicely. His haircut looks great and he’s even more handsome now. The haircuts and styles at this place are always great, but Rachel is something special. Thank you, Miss Rachel! Highly recommend her if you’re going to Sharkey’s

Was not consulted on how short or the style of the bang trim — she just went right in and cut it! Way too short and is uneven. Maybe there are better stylists, but was extremely unhappy with our daughter’s first experience of a haircut. Never going back.

Took my daughter to get her bangs cut. They charged me full price just to do the bangs. They did not consult me on the length or style and her bangs are uneven. 🤦♀️ The only reason I gave it two stars is bc I don’t want to punish everyone because one person has no skills. They are also very kid friendly.
