Hi team. I came with my father to get some tests as he had some infection.

The doctor had requested two tests. The clinic forgot to do one of the two tests!! My dad was unwell, and could not get the results on time, and he has to go the second time.

Very surprised at the lack of basic diligence at this facility.

The care here was adequate, however the billing is not accurate. They will arbitrarily apply additional codes, in an inconsistent manner, in order to get more money. I raised the problem with customer support, and the representative had the audacity to defend the billing, even though it's obviously incorrect.

They claim that they can add on code G2211 whenever they feel like it, even for a visit that did not involve any complexities or serious conditions (as it is intended for)

There is absolutely no consistency in how much they charge for the same healthcare. Sometimes I am charged extra for code G2211, sometimes not.
It's left me with not many options. I have left UW because of this.

They are basically the Mafia. They tell you how much to pay based on how much they feel like charging, they don't need to explain their reasoning, and you have little opportunity to challenge.

If yall are going to close for lunch for an hour, can you please post it somewhere on your website so people don’t waste time coming? I was told I could walk in any time for a lab blood draw but I guess that’s not true.

I've been a patient here for over 10 years and have found the providers to be excellent. However, it takes 3-6 months to get in to see my doctor so I'm never able to get help with new issues, just with annual wellness visits. What really frustrates me though is that even though I can't see my doctor when I need to, because he is so busy, they are making him accept new patients. This is pure management ineptitude, or a really messed up set of goals. Whatever it is, it defeats the purpose of having a primary care physician.

I appreciate the care and expertise of the doctors here—they’ve been consistently excellent. However, the phone service has been extremely frustrating. Despite being the #3 caller in line, I waited over 20 minutes without progress. When I chose the call-back option, the system disconnected, and I never received a return call. Additionally, the phone operator I spoke with was impolite and ended the conversation abruptly without confirming the call was finished, which left me feeling more frustrated with the phone service.

I had the worst experience ever with UW Medicine. First I saw doctors in Factoria location, but I also had to go to Seattle as well because most of the time they don't have any available appointments.
Despite seeing several doctors, undergoing numerous lab tests, and taking various medications, my health issues were not resolved. When I called them again with the same concerns and asked to make an appointment to see a doctor, they told me to go to urgent care because my concerns were considered 'regular' and they didn't have any available doctors. So they just ignored my previous treatment history with them and proposed to schedule the next available appointment with a doctor in DECEMBER.
If you have any health issues please stay away from UW

Do not recommend. Visited Dr Chan, he got frustrated that I asked him to review genetic testing results ordered by prior physician, misinterpreted them and then tried to blame me for losing some pages (I could see online in my chart that all pages were attached properly). I may be wrong in assessing his competence as low, but surely as a doctor he displayed very low standards of care (no patience or respect, was very annoyed by my questions or doubts, focused on blame shifting and correcting my accent despite his own heavy accent).

UW Medicine is an imperfect medical institution, no dispute there. Hope they get some good investment and better organization but will accept them as is today.

My review is more about Dr Iman Majd who is the best doctor I’ve ever had and greatly appreciate each time he’s there to support me. He is the most grounded, exceptional listener, well educated (great education does not mean just having a doctorate and an ego to fit) with a well balanced education primary and supplementary. Dr Majd demonstrates the values all doctors and PAs should by being the solution and calm in the world of chaos. For example he starts with truly listening to patients to hear their issues negue racing off with “solutions” to support pharmacy and insurance industry nonsense. He has never led me wrong in any situation and I’m forever grateful to him.

The staff here are exceptional in care, consideration and kindness supporting us patients and the doctors and PAs.

Commonly the problems that patients have are overall organization of UW Medicine, billing, scheduling. I’ve had my share but the care I receive here is superb and happily share my perspective. Thank you!?
