Extremely impress with the service at admin counter and medical care. Even after service care was friendly. Our son came in late at night but they still took us in. We are so happy to have walked in to this professional clinic for urgent care. Thank you for your team’s help.

I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience with Dr. Yi-Jen. After changing my health plan, I switched to Dr. Jen this summer. Dr. Jen's warm demeanor and genuine concern for her patients are truly remarkable. She took the time to listen to all concerns and her thorough approach to diagnosing and treating my health issues was reassuring. She is always quick to respond, ensuring that I receive timely care and answers to my questions.

Moreover, the staff at this location is friendly and efficient, making the entire experience smooth and pleasant. This is the first time I have felt so supported and understood by a healthcare provider. I highly recommend Dr. Jen.

    Update to Review at Bottom:

    Two Stars ⭐️ ⭐️at best
Update to Four ???? (see below)
I left 60 minutes early with a passenger in the car to allow for carpooling.
I took the day off to attend this pre scheduled appointment. I haven’t been feeling well for months. My doctor is aware of this. Without going into too much, I haven’t been able to get enough air when attempting to breathe-
They have a 10 minute late policy.
Due to traffic G-maps was fluctuating.
Once I realized I may be delayed by 11-12 minutes, I called Overlake Primary Care. I got the answering service. I asked to speak to someone in the office. The representative said she could transfer me then didn’t-so I had to ask twice more. Once transferred I let the woman in the office know that I may be 1-2 minutes later than the 10 minutes. I asked if they could please have consideration as I would have just traveled over 1 hour even pre planning for a passenger in order to take carpool. What I didn’t mention is that I also planned the trip per G-maps the night before. It’s really helpful to be able to do that. When I arrived to the clinic 1 minute outside of the 10 minute grace period for a total of 11 minutes-I understood yes I was late. I told the man at the front desk that I had called and traveled one hour. He immediately said I would have to reschedule. I asked him to ask my doctor. My doctor knows I’ve been ill for 4 months and multiple antibiotics later am still not well. She could have seen me and decided to make the appointment shorter like 1/2 or even 1/3 of the time of a regular appointment. Instead-She Denied Seeing Me and had NO MERCY. There was a workaround for this but she made a choice not to move forward with that option. I am disgusted and now without the refills that I need nor the care. I want to be clear here…
I’m not a person who expects or wears ‘entitlement’ as a badge. I understand and respect that other people are trying to do their part. At the same time-life is not black or white. Being able to flex and pivot takes a level of compassion and care that is easier to bypass than be bothered. I want a provider that cares enough to pivot, rather than pass on what opportunity is there for treatment. —I matter—One thing about Overlake is that some of the providers and staff are not in touch with BIPOC communities and the way we struggle. They say they are ( and of course some people in this network truly are-that’s only fair) but I can assure you, if this was a clinic in Seattle that has committed to learn what it is like for at risk communities-the outcome would have been in favor of providing the care that WAS POSSIBLE FOR THE PATIENT!!!! That’s really working with people and working together. Yes, they have a 10 minute grace period. I was 1 minute outside of that. Yes, it was 11 minutes but again there were options.
Also, regarding a number of medical concerns that I’ve had for months, yes it’s in my chart however Overlake keeps making notes and does nothing. Displeased is a pleasant way to put it. Their approach to my care is-I feel in many respects-putting me at further risk because I keep telling them the same thing and all they do is ‘note it’.
My mom was with me during this trip to the office, she’s 75 years young and she was shocked and has never seen this level or lack of mercy from a doctor. Displeased, disheartened and disgusted. Unless this is addressed-I do not recommend.

Update: That very day, a nurse reached out. She was kind, explained and then apologized for what happened and did so genuinely. It was very helpful, considerate and thoughtful of her to take this time to do so. She presented multiple ways to be seen and days to reschedule and made sure any refills were in the works. Due to how genuine, kind and considerate she was for my time, health and feelings-I am returning. OPC-Thank you for reaching out and showing me I matter.
I like good endings…or is it a new beginning :]

Terrible. They had no clue what they were talking about and misdiagnosed. They were rude and unknowledgeable.

Excellent and friendly staff, my scheduled appointment was right on time, and even doing a walk in for tests I didn't have to wait that long.
