“Ms. Elaine is a wonderful piano teacher. We are so lucky and fortunate to have her as our daughter's piano teacher. We would recommend her to anyone with a child who wants to learn to play the piano. Ms. Elaine works so well with our daughter. She is firm and fun at the same time. She holds her students to very high standards, but she makes everything achievable through clear instructions, and detailed after class practice guide. Ms. Elaine doesn't just teaches piano playing either, she also helps our daughter develop her social emotional skills, with how to interact with others, how to handle adversity, and how to manage our emotions. On top of that, Ms. Elaine also helps us the parents in how to work with and interact with our daughter in a positive way that gives her confidence and ownership. Our daughter had some piano instruction previously with another teacher but she was struggling more and more as time went on. Ms. Elaine was able to quickly rebuild her confidence and worked on building many of the foundation skills that were missing. Now our daughter is slowly regaining her confidence and enjoying playing piano again.“

“My son (who was 6.5) developed so much joy playing piano under Benjamin’s teaching and my son loves to practice piano on his own without being told. Benjamin connects well with my son as he can be humorous. He is also flexible with siblings coming along during lessons. We started during the pandemic, just when things started returning in person and the transition was smooth. The recital part was also very enjoyable and made my son felt proud of his first recital.“
