Dr Dooms is excellent. Been with him for almost 2 years. Highly recommend him. Also, the Bellevue office is great, both the office staff and the nurses; Catherine and Jennifer are excellent! Josie, the scheduler is awesome. She is great at trying to find a schedule for my allergy shots that is best for me!
I had to travel a long way and was late, he saw me anyway. He suggested video visits so I don't have to travel. He cares about his patients. Dr. Dooms spends as much time with you as you need explaining what is going on with your treatment and condition.
Dr. Dooms is a phenomenal immunologist! I had been dismissed and gaslit by SO many doctors in the past. Many would tell me, "It's just your anxiety." Dr. Dooms will actually take the time to listen and HELP me. I'm 58 years old, and NO doctors have ever taken the time to help me figure out why I'm struggling with such debilitating fatigue, pain, and chronic infections. Dr. Dooms takes the time, because he genuinely cares. I am learning more with each visit, each lab result, that my immune system is not functioning correctly. I'm a former crisis responder, and I know how important communication is, but with Dr. Dooms, you get accurate, compassionate communication. Everything is explained in detail, and he allows you time to ask questions, all the while treating you like you matter. Because you know what? You DO! You're not just overweight. It's not just your anxiety when it comes to improper immune response. That unbearable fatigue that you are feeling is real! You can't argue these lab results. I have complete faith and trust in Dr. Dooms skills and knowledge as one of Washington's top immunologists.
