Our pup has gone there for the last 3 years for boarding and daycare and loved every moment. If I could pick them up and take them to Tacoma with us, I would. They have done little projects and pictures for holidays with the dogs and do add on enrichment activities that the dogs love. If your pup needs some play time or someone to watch them when you go out of town, Gold Star is fantastic!

From Puppy Social to AKC CGC, we've participated in almost all of the manners classes and workshops, often revisiting them to navigate the teenage stage. Our older dog has been enjoying classes and daycare for 2 1/2 years and absolutely loves seeing her friends. We greatly appreciate the staff; each trainer offers unique skills and knowledge which they gladly share. Their genuine love for dogs is evident. Our newest addition, a 5-month-old puppy, is starting his journey with Gold Star, and I’m confident he’ll receive excellent training and become a wonderful companion like his big sister.

We’ve taken our one year old Aussie to Gold Star since she was 10 weeks old. We’ve done countless puppy social hours, several levels of obedience classes, daycare 2-3 times per week, and overnight boarding. The staff is knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely enjoy working with dogs and their human owners. In classes you will learn the skills and behaviors to find your dog’s motivations and how to communicate with them. When I drop her off for daycare she is always so excited and the staff is excited to greet her. I can’t recommend Gold Star more!
