As a home inspector, I inspect insulation jobs all the time, but I’m not always aware of which companies do it. I asked a few trusted contractors in the San Juans that I know very well, and most of them recommended Superior Insulation. I got Darcy’s direct cell number from one of them, and from the beginning he was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and patient with me because I wanted multiple bid options for insulating a historic home I’m restoring. The price was more than fair, and the installation was completed in one day to the highest standards. Truly a superior job. Thanks very much, Darcy and the crew at Superior Insulation!
They should have five stars across the board. The only people leaving one star in here are complaining about driving or no-shows. Lee is great and actually knows what he’s talking about.
Leland Gamache will give you 20 minutes notice prior to arrival and expect you to meet him in person for an estimate and bid. This provides a very poor customer experience of only 20 minutes notice. I can understand that he cannot give an exact time due to traffic, but at the very least a time range arrival would be acceptable. Leland and I agreed to meet yesterday 10/25/2023 in the morning, but he did not give an exact time or window. I had work meetings from 10AM to 12pm and expected Leland to give me advance notice of the time range so I could ask the worker to be on site and open the door for him.
