I have tried multiple massage places throughout Washington State, and more across the globe. After the military, I've struggled with tightness and pain in my back and shoulders that never seem to go away.
I wasn't too happy with how I felt after other massage studios, so in order to make it more cost effective to try different studios, I started scheduling only 30 minute sessions - so that I could first establish whether or not a studio was worth investing more money into. Just like food in WA state, there's a lot of 5 star places that are lackluster because people (myself included) dont have the heart to rate them poorly.
It wasn't until today, nearly 10 years after exiting the military that I found this place.
I'm still pretty in shock to be honest. Jennifer accomplished more in 30mins than in a 1-2 hour massage elsewhere. There are parts of my back that have been permanently tender which for the first time in 10 years have subsided.
Her expertise definitely shows, and if you get a chance to talk to her, you can tell immediately, this is something she is passionate about.
It's not every day that you get to praise someone for their passion coming to fruition. Jennifer is absolutely top tier and has a deep understanding of how interconnected the body is.
I'm greatly looking forward to the upcoming full-length massage. They have definitely earned a repeat customer.
As a side note they also offer a monthly subscription that includes one free massage and discounts on consecutive massages.“

From the knowledgeable and friendly front desk staff to both PT Tristans, I would walk out of there after every session feeling so good, happy to do my home exercises and very happy to return later in the week. I was well cared for, listened to and respected.“

Her background in sports medicine has been incredibly helpful in improving the chronic pain my partner lives with, and she has put in the time and attention to detail to teach me how to find tight muscles and work them out safely, so that I can help at home, as well as teaching both of us what different assistance tools and products are available to us, how they work and why.
I can tell that Melissa not only wants us to walk out of her office feeling better than we came in, but wants the quality of our overall lives to improve so that we experience less pain in the long run, and that is incredibly valuable to me. We will be regulars as long as we live in the area.“

It was easy to make an appointment and everyone was incredibly nice. Holly was the masseuse and she was by far one of the best therapists I have seen. I'll definitely be going back and recommending this spa to my friends and family! Bev R.“

“Trigger Finger Acupuncture
I am 60 years old woman. I moved to WA 5 years ago from other state. And 2 years ago my right wrist was broken. After my cast on as removed it felt healed. But suddenly trigger finger started on my right hand’s middle finger. Let’s call it #3 finger.
It got worse over time.
So I checked and ordered all kind of tools from Amazon for trigger finger.
…Nothing worked.
I did finger exercise, massage with youtube.
…Nothing worked.
Finally I took a steroid injection.
…Nothing worked!
My life turned to hell.
#4 and #5 fingers started to get stuck.
Can’t cut a fruit or grab a toothbrush. Cuz my fingers are stuck after I do that.
Seems the only way to fix was surgery. But I didn’t want it. Surgery is really really last choice for me.
I am Korean.
I have knowledge about acupuncture. I even know precise points.
But finding a good acupuncturist in America is very difficult.
I decided to try to find out good acupuncturist before surgery.
So I asked many of Korean and other Asians.
“Who is the best acupuncturist in WA?”
After searching for months, I found this place.
And I recognized Dr. Kim has very good acupuncture technique during my 1st treatment. So I bought the 21 treatments package.
The 1st treatment was electric acupuncture and was level 2.5(level 6 is Max).
First two months was not much improvement but I knew that I needed to be patient. Cuz my trigger finger has been over a year so can’t fix in a couple months.
3rd month, still stuck but getting better.
4th month, #4 and #5 was fixed! I could get level 6 treatment each visit.
5th month, #3 finger is fixed!
Maybe some people think that 5 months is too long but acupuncture helps human’s natural healing. It takes time. Also it’s depends on how serious the symptoms. My trigger finger was really bad. Now, I can peel potato! No more stress to grab a toothbrush! No surgery!
I am so glad I found Dr. Kim!
Highly recommend!“
