We just switched to Nido from a larger company and we are very pleased with the quality of service and the level of customer service. The technicians who performed the install of the tank as well as the boiler technicians have been fantastic. The office has been fantastic to deal with. It is refreshing to call a number and speak to a person who is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are also competitive with what we paid previously. There is a reason Nido propane tanks are popping up all over the valley. They are awesome.
Working with A Handyman was a true pleasure across all phases of the project. Beginning with the design process, Petra listened to our vision and was able to flawlessly translate the image in our minds into reality. Her designs and attention to detail are second to none. Even though we couldn't always meet in person Petra's communication was detailed and thorough - the mood boards she sent really helped us understand how she intended to execute our vision, and her ability to find options at different price points allowed us to maximize our renovation budget.The workmanship and craftsmanship on the project are second to none. The tile work in the bathroom is simply exquisite. The finish carpentry is outstanding, and although it's often not thought about, the mud and taping on the drywall is undetectable. Casey is simply amazing. His attention to detail, high standards, and ideas helped us make maximum use of our space and allowed us to maximize the bang-for-the-buck we got from our budget. I can't overstate how excellent Casey's communication was (by phone, text, and uploaded photos) and even though we were at our primary residence for most of the project we always felt like we knew exactly what was happening everyday at the house. To anyone considering hiring A Handyman: They are simply the best we have ever found, and we are already planning to work with them when the time comes to renovate our second floor.Services: General construction

The best massage I’ve ever had.While on vacation in the area I had the extreme privilege of an in-home massage with Debra. Best decision ever. She asked about areas to concentrate on (for me, lower back and knots in shoulders), casually mentioned that is her specialty… and got to work. No small talk, just allowed me to relax and enjoy the most amazing massage I’ve ever had. A truly transformative experience. She is an incredible talent and I wish we lived here, I’d see her every week!
I've been using Lane Plumbing for over 12 years and have always been happy. They get the job done quickly and they do it right. They don't take shortcuts and they don't recommend work that isn't necessary either. I've had to call them twice for emergencies and they've been responsive both times. Something I wish they did - even though NO plumbers (or electricians EVER do this) - is repair the ceiling after they cut it to get to a problem. I understand - it's not their area of expertise. I just wish that would be an option - that I would obviously pay for. Having to hire someone else to patch something is always a pain. But as I said, in all my years of dealing with plumbers and electricians I have never met one who did this - it's normal. Also, I've found many of their plumbers to be personable, interesting people.
Melissa has been cutting my hair for 20+ years and I still drive from MA to VT just to get a haircut from her! She is fantastic at what she does!
