I have always had a good experience and been happy with Shippee Family Eye Care. But today, I learned just how good it is to be a patient there.Today is a Saturday and it is late afternoon, when the SFEC office was closed. I had a vision event, unlike anything I have ever experienced and I have been thinking I might have to go to the emergency room, because I am not willing to risk my vision by gambling whether the problem can wait.Before going to the emergency room, I called the SFEC office. I arrived 20 minutes early. I was greeted and was taken into an exam room 5 -10 minutes later. The exam started at once. Each staff member was profession, efficient and knowledgeable. They made me feel connected and involved throughout the process. They answered all of my questions and explained how glasses or other correction procedures would improve my sight and facets of my life. I wish that I would have scheduled an appointment sooner.

I called at 8:45 in the morning with a concern about my vision. I was scheduled for an hour later at 9:40.Imagine that!Everyone at Shippee is wonderful. They are so professional and kind. Dr. Molly is amazing! She took care of my problem ands I have a follow-up in two weeks.I feel very grateful to have eye care with skilled and thoughtful staff available in our community.
