I had a very challenging project that required some outside-the-box thinking. I needed an awning over the main entry into my manufactured home. But the entry stair/porch is prone to significant frost heave, as is the surrounding ground, so an awning structure anchored to either the ground or the porch would have required expensive frost footings to be constructed. I proposed a non-conventional 2-part air-gapped design that would allow the stair/porch to freely heave without affecting the house. Tim delivered on the design with care and craftsmanship, and the result should stand the test of time very well.
