About Apria Healthcare
Apria Healthcare provides home respiratory services and medical equipment. Reviews describe a pretty smooth experience and very good service, with some specific feedback on the setup process. Customers report that the company knows how to provide top-tier customer support and service, with one noting an amazing two-day delivery for a CPAP machine. The accompanying app is liked for providing detailed sleep information. Some points for improvement are noted. There can be a lot of subtly-conflicting setup instructions between emails, placards, guides, and the machine itself, with mask and machine instructions often segregated. Additionally, there is no simple, combined guide for maintenance and cleaning, with these instructions buried in manuals rather than being front and center. Despite this, the team is recognized for answering all questions and resolving issues promptly, leading to a high recommendation from patients.
Edit: After my original review below, Apria contacted me and refunded me for the supplies that were ordered out of pocket. Since then I’ve consistently received the correct supplies on a regular basis and haven’t had any issues.

At this point I’m having to use supplies that are months past when they should have been replaced. They’ll call you from 5 different numbers and 3 different emails all intermingling Apria Health and Apria Direct, to try to trip you up into placing...read full review
I have dealt with LinCare and Adapt Health. They were both terrible to deal with. I am a nurse and was appalled at the frustrations I had with both of them. Apria was easy and a much appreciated interaction. Thank you for caring and communicating. You got my business and I will share my positive interaction with others.
Pretty smooth experience with Apria so far (one night in). Two points of contention they could improve:
1. There's a LOT of subtly-conflicting set-up instructions: emailed instructions, placard instructions, quick start instructions, user guide instructions, phone app instructions, machine display instructions. Also the mask and machine instructions are weirdly segregated, rather than a single process.
2. There's no simple guide to maintenance. Mask and machine again have their own guides, not a combined guide, and these guides are buried in the owner's manuals. Given that this machine is designed to drive air deep into the patient's lungs, cleaning should really...read full review
