We called Blackfork after an accident left us stuck on the side of the highway, 200 miles from home, on New Years Day when most towing companies were closed. Rod was there within minutes. Not only did he give us a tow, but he drove us to the airport to get a rental car back to Boston, and he gave us great advice on dealing with insurance (car ended up being totaled - would probably have had to come all the way back to VT to clean it out if not for Rod). Thank you so much Rod - you made a bad situation much more manageable.

Reap Construction did a complete remodel of our kitchen a year ago and we absolutely love the newly revitalized space. Working with Joy, Bob, and Jennifer was easy with seamless communication: straightforward, timely, and focused on our needs. And recently when we experienced flooding in our lower level, the Reap team jumped in to help us out. When we do more renovations in the future, we'll be working with Reap Construction.
This barn and the teachers here have become a place my heart calls home. After several years off from riding, I was looking to get horses back in my life again, but had no interest in competitive sport and was searching for a journey with a teacher who takes a slower, more holistic approach to the partnership between human and horse. New Moon Ranch focuses on truly understanding horse behavior and language to listen to what they have to tell us, and boy they have a lot to say. Horses are amazing teachers that can help us to understand ourselves, build trust, and grow confidence. The environment here is casual and I love the down-to-earth nature and the judgement-free sense of belonging. An emphasis is placed on natural horsemanship and the guidance to simply ride for pleasure (the low-pressure, fun part!). Many of the horses are ridden with bareback pads, which I've really really enjoyed using to practice balance. The barn itself is in a beautiful setting along the Huntington River, where the trickle of water, birds singing, and breeze on your face offers a sense of peace that seems harder and harder to find. The instructors/owners Lotta and Hollister are great. They have a special way with horses and teaching you connection to the animal you're making a team with. They are confident in their methods and teach you to be aware of your own state of physical being and mental energy to be the best communicator and partner you can. The other riders in the barn are also sweet and welcoming. I have finally found some healing and more meaning and joy in riding again. If this sounds like something you're interested in, I recommend these folks and trying out NMR.
I was so pleased with the work of Matt and the Morning Dew team. I cannot overstate how wonderful our patio came out. The professionalism, communication, and overall engagement working with Matt was outstanding. I highly recommend folks in the Burlington, VT area to consider Morning Dew for their project!

Our house was totally transformed by the quality of Nick and Pete's work. That's the short version. We can't recommend them enough as a partner.
With their help we renovated the kitchen and dining room of our 100 year old home in Richmond. We took out the old kitchen (down to the studs) and removed a wall between it and the dining room. The resulting layout was quite tricky to work with given the number of windows and entryways around the perimeter of the space. Yet, Nick's custom cabinets and their outstanding quality look so at home and natural in the house that people who visit assume that it's always looked this way. That's no accident, they worked diligently to pull that off. As other reviewers have commented, the team has an incredible attention to detail and we came within budget.
There were multiple tricky elements involved with our renovation that extended beyond designing and installing beautiful custom cabinetry. They made structural reinforcements to the house and perhaps my favorite accomplishment was how well Nick and team crafted and fit a panel refrigerator into a tight space that allowed us to keep our downstairs bathroom while also maximizing storage space. It also looks pretty damn incredible.
We feel very lucky we were able to work with Vermont Cabinetworks and would recommend them wholeheartedly.
I would give Tiffany 6 stars if I could. I felt a calling to become a Reiki practitioner in order to increase my intuitive skills; I plan on becoming a healthcare provider so this would be vital to my patient care. So I reached out to Tiffany and we found a way to safely meet my goal amidst this COVID era; I am so grateful to have Tiffany as my Reiki master/resource! From my first meeting with Tiffany, it is so obvious that she physically and spiritually has put so much thought into her space and her practice, and her skills/knowledge say it all. From the wall color to the infrastructure to the organization (and everything in between), the space is extremely well-cared for and conducive for learning and feeling the Reiki energy. Tiffany even did Reiki healing on me at my first Level I session!
From the books to the crystals to the hands-on Reiki healing sessions and practices, I feel really confident in myself to incorporate Reiki into my life and others as well. I cannot thank Tiffany enough.
Because of my unique goals and how I hope to incorporate Reiki into my life (personally, as well as into my medical career), I had so many questions. Tiffany was very versatile and able to help me figure out how to incorporate Reiki into my medical career. I am also big on Law of Attraction and Tiffany enthusiastically shared tangible actions and steps on how I can do this, and also how she does this in her daily life. Not only do I learn from Tiffany through a didactic way, but also, I learn from her own experiences and I so appreciate the space she gives for me to create my own.
All in all, I have come away from this experience as a more intuitive, happier, and more grounded human being. Tiffany made it very clear that she will be a resource for me well into the future. The amount of thought, care, blessings, spirit, and light that Tiffany puts into her space, teaching, and healing would make me recommend her to anyone and everyone looking to explore Reiki.
Baptiste was a true pleasure to work with! The utmost professional. I appreciate that he combines his expertise with stonework/landscaping, with his creativity and skills as an artist. He took our idea of a simple walkway, and provided us with a product that was beyond our expectations. Baptiste’s estimate was also right on par with others of the same caliber. When we decided to "enhance" our plan, we truly appreciated that he worked with us, and our budget, to make practical changes that helped cut costs. He even ended up coming in under his estimate. Baptiste’s communication was superb as well. He kept us in the loop the entire process, from scheduling the estimate, coming back to finalize, and throughout the creation of a beautiful new walkway and landscaping. He didn’t miss a beat. Despite some less than desirable weather (mud season!), Baptiste got the job done quicker than we anticipated, leaving a clean work site, and beautiful master piece for us to enjoy for many years to come. Jason is amazing. I have high expectations for my hair and he did not disappoint. Not only did he dye my hair to literally the exact shade of strawberry blonde that I’d envisioned, he was very polite and professional throughout the whole process. My dogs have been to many veterinary clinics over the years, and Richmond Animal Hospital is the best. This morning my dog injured her salivary gland chasing a stick. They squeezed us in this morning and Dr. Leblanc (who is an amazing doctor) discovered the hematoma. Zoe was super helpful and Kobie started making calls to see who may be available to perform this delicate surgery. So grateful to have such an amazing animal hospital close by.
