It turns out that Conti's had been trying to reach me during the summer to let me know that, according to state law, my tank needed to be inspected before delivery could be made. My landline was out of service for most of the summer, so they were unable to reach me. One evening, I called and left them a message, explaining that my tank was almost empty and asking them to call me when they opened so I could schedule a delivery. Chris called me back the next morning, and she was so kind and helpful. She explained why I hadn't received a delivery and offered to send an inspector out that same morning.
