Randy is always a great barber. Haircuts are well priced, conversation exactly what you'd like from a barber, and a very small town vibe with knick knacks and items for the area, Norwich, and collected by Randy and the previous owner. Cannot recommend Randy enough!

Darn Tough are truly best socks I've ever worn. I've been a picky sock person for years now, but they are something else entirely. The knit is so smooth it's almost buttery - even if you turn them inside out, it's still so even and silky!! How do they even do it??!?! When I bought my first pair of Darn Tough at the shop that carries them locally, I also picked up a pair from a well known competitor brand, just to see what they were both like. They cost within $1-3 of each other but the difference was night and day. From the first time I wore my new Darn Tough socks, I was smitten. When I tried the competitor brand socks, a plain pair without pattern or design, the knit was so rough on the inside that I've only been able to make myself wear them twice. Some time later, I bought a second pair from the competitor brand, to test and see if my first experience was a fluke. But when I took them out of the package to try on, the knit was even rougher on the inside AND the outside than my first pair! And they certainly didn't have any hint of the luxuriousness I've come to expect from Darn Tough. I knew I'd never be able to wear them. They didn't even make it onto my feet. Back they went to the store and good riddance. But by that time, happily, I already had a drawer full of Darn Tough socks, of course. There will be no third chance for that other company or anyone else. Darn Tough has my heart and I'm not mad about it.
I have had Gillespie service my on demand hot water heater for years. I also have then delivery my fuel oil. I called to have it done again and something happened it would start back up after the cleaning, new nozzle. The tech called the oil manager/owner Steve Korrow and he sent another tech the next day who is more familiar with my model, but that tech also couldn’t get it going. The tech went back to the office to speak with Steve who called me that same night after hours and told me if I wanted to go electrical he could have a new hot water heater and tech here the next morning. He was true to his word and that tech was professional, enjoyed my dogs and worked to make sure I would have hot water that day!!! This small company is amazing and makes sure the customers are taken care of!!! I want to mention that I also didn’t get charge for having the other two (2) techs here which I don’t know any other company that would have done that because both techs showed up and did work to try and get my old hot water heater going!!! Great customer service, great respond time and professional owner, manager and technicians. Gillespie Fuels for the win!!!
