Very bucolic, simple cemetery - the biggest in Montpelier. A square plot, surrounded by trees. I'm not a cemetery guy, but this one deserves some 'old-timey', hallowed "yelping!".. ... Nestled next to the N. branch of Winooski River. Pedestrians amble. Old grave markers of all shapes, sizes are still visible, though overgrown by grass and trees. It's accessible with few benches near where the meadow meets the sidewalk. Town Officer Ezra Marsh, is buried here since ca. 1874- something ish. Hollowed grounds in a low-valley part of a living neighborhood, next to the river in old Montpelier.
