I HIGHLY recommend Essex Paint and Carpet. They did many projects for me years ago, all of which came out beautifully and were fairly priced. Many years later, John's son Joe, now at the helm, helped us in our new home. Once again, the true Vermonter way; excellent workmanship, fairly priced, quick turnaround, and outstanding customer service. Joe even provided names of other contractors for other projects having nothing to do with his business. They too did fantastic work. Buy local. Stop in at Essex Paint and Carpet. You won't be sorry.

Essex Paint & Carpet are the best. My husband and I love these guys. The sales folks are pleasant, helpful, and know their stuff. Their prices are reasonable. They carry great product lines. Even the contractors they work with love them (shout outs to Stuart and Luke who did recent tiling for us). Each job they do for us re-earns our loyalty!
