This was an inn on a vermont country inns tour at christmas so we didnt actually stay here but it was nice to visit. The holiday decor was festive. We arrived a bit late and did not have an opportunity to see any rooms.
A beautifully restored historical house in the quiet village of East Dorset, Vermont. Bill W., co-founder of AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) born here. Daily meetings, weekend seminars, retreats, overnight lodging by reservation (best), Most meetings are open meetings. Check out websites for Vermont AA and for the Wilson House. Nearby towns have many meetings too. The rear most meeting room has a large collection of AA messaged license plates mounted along the ceiling. Classic front porch, nice garden. Library in near building, north.
