On a weekend trip to Vermont I discovered Sunday Bell Farm in North Danville. I brought 4 Gallons of raw milk home and 4 frozen whole chickens. Jersey and Guernsey cows produce delicious milk and fabulous yogurt. I roasted a chicken and it too was delicious. I am looking forward to going back soon.
These farmers work so hard and they do important work.
My boyfriend and myself recently moved to Vermont and have been on the look out for a local farm to buy meats from. Ground beef was quite nice. We also grabbed some tenderloin steaks & ground veal which we are yet to try. When we normally pay $9-12 for local ground beef & $10-14 for veal, these rates are a breath of fresh air.
Just tried the raw milk- wow. Some of the best I’ve tried in New England- I believe this is our 11th farm spanning all 5 New England states. THESE TENDERLOIN STEAKS ARE OUT. OF. BOUNDS. Thanks for having us in your home, we’ll certainly be back.
