I do not recommend Stone and Browning!

Incredibly disappointing. My application was approved by Abby just for her to email me 11 days later saying actually, you’re denied. She said it was due to negative rental history, which she didn’t listen to any explanation that I had at all. She said I was an unauthorized tenant (not true, and I can prove that if she would have allowed me to) and that I left some trash behind at my last apartment. I did leave four bags of trash next to the bin outside due to physically being unable to handle them, but I did let them know that and they said it was fine and it may just deduct some $ from my security deposit, which I was ok with. The apartment was spotless otherwise. I would not have left them if I had known it would cost me an apartment later in the future with them. They were incredibly unwilling to work with me even though I’ve rented through them multiple times and have always paid my rent, never been evicted or had any complaints against me. Very upsetting.

Horrible communication and customer service. I began renting in September, was told because of Labor Day weekend the unit might not be exactly move-in-ready, as they have “high standards” for their units; but promised that the updates would be made soon after moving in. Jesse didn’t respond for over a month when I asked about these updates and the status, then told me they won’t be happening. Simple things such as paint, which he stated they couldn’t do because they can’t color match! Unbelievable. I could go on and on.
