After being failed by animal control, pd, VT Department of Health and the WARDEN, I called Shawn to ask how much it would cost to remove a skunk. His prices are very reasonable. We called Shawn on a Saturday and he came to the house a few hours later. We could hear scratching and clawing between the tuck under garage ceiling and the overlying living room floor. Shawn is extremely knowledgeable, easily engaged us in informative conversation, and pretty quickly identified the beastie as a gray squirrel from hair atop the garage door tracks and on the floor. In addition, there was poop here and there on the garage floor. We didn’t find the intruder and are unsure if he escaped sometime when the door was open or if the little guy is hiding, perhaps weak/dead from dehydration somewhere.
