My mom died 2/26/2024. Used Mahar as my family has used for generations. I had waited for 16 months to get my mother’s engraving on the family plot stone 2 summers. I gave up and went to sheas by recommendation. They got it done in 2 weeks and 2 days. No questions asked. They did right by my mom. Now she and her husband can rest in peace. As can I. Thank you so much for putting closure for my mom and her husband.
When my grandfather passed away the team at Hanson Walbridge/Cremation Society of VT were extremely caring, compassionate, and informative the whole time. Our family had made a pre arrangement a couple months prior and with the assistance of Danielle and Tom the paperwork was simple and stress free and the explanations were detailed and patient. Danielle was major in helping to keep us informed once he was in their care and in helping get the paperwork finalized and secured. Herbie treated my grandfather with such care and respect, displaying the American flag and honoring him as a veteran in such a beautiful way. I’m forever grateful for the wisdom, professionalism, and the guiding hand both Thomas & Christina provided during my father’s passing. They laid out all the options, didn’t pressure me, and were patient. Also, thank you to the staff for helping set up everything properly for the services. The building itself, along with the interior is absolutely beautiful. 100% would recommend to others.
