The kindness and guidance we received from Erika during our 15-year-old husky Desmond's end of life was truly outstanding. Erika did a 2-hour consultation with us and helped us understand the full scope of our options, letting us guide the process and supporting us in feeling confident during what was one of the most difficult periods of decision-making of our lives. She ultimately helped Desmond pass peacefully, outside and at home while we were with him. She treated him with the respect and dignity he deserved, and honored our bond with him to the very last moment. Thank you, Dr. Bruner, for helping him - and us. We whole-heartedly recommend her services to any pet owners in Central Vermont. Saying goodbye is impossibly difficult, but having the option to do so at home and ensure the pet's comfort is the ultimate gift.
Our dog Harley Jean absolutely loves Four Paws Inn (as do we)! She’s been going to daycare and boarding with them since the summer of 2023. The staff are great and really take the time to learn each dog and their needs. We couldn’t imagine Harley’s life without Four Paws!?

Jason is a true professional at his craft. We had our trampoline fly across the lawn during a big wind storm and put a good dent in the front fender of our car. Jason quoted us a fair price and got us in within a couple weeks. He fixed the large dent and a few other small ones around the car and can't even tell where there was damage. Highly recommend this high character guy to take care of dings and dents on your vehicle.

I’ve had Andrea doing my hair for years now. I don’t even have to tell her what I want, I just say “It’s time for my summer cut!” And she’s on it! Fast service with friendly people and a great cut to boot! While it’s slight less convenient at the new location, it’s safer for them so it’s fine by me! Who wants to have to rebuild every two years because of floods!?
Lila is an incredible tattoo artist and could very easily be the best portrait tattoo artist in Vermont. I came to her with a broad idea for an upper sleeve to commemorate a Curse of Strahd D&D campaign. She ran with it and created a tattoo that best leveraged her expertise and incorporated the key elements of what I wanted. I'd recommend Lila to anyone who understands that skin as a medium is challenging and coming in with a rigid idea of what you want might not result in the best tattoo long term. Trust Lila, she knows what she's doing.
P.S. Her studio gives off early 20th century mad scientist vibes and might be terrifying for minors
Best Customer Service by far. I placed an online order from VA and put the wrong delivery address. Flowers were delivered to the wrong address. I called the next day when I realized what I had done & the manager and Delivery driver both went out of thier way to fix my mess up. I could not have asked for more! I WILL DEFINITELY BE USING THEM FOR ALL MY FLOWER PURCHASES.
April is fantastic. She does fabulous cuts and color that are affordable.plus she is fun to talk to. I would highly recommend her.

Lotus Yoga is a beautiful studio and Regina is the best yoga teacher I have ever practiced yoga asana with. Her focus on anatomy and tiny micro movements make a significant difference in how you access the asana, which makes each class feel like it was exactly what I needed. Restorative, gentle and intermediate yoga classes every week. Truly yoga is for everyBODY!!! Classes are both live in the studio and remote, so it’s easy to attend. Come practice with us! Namaste! ??
Everyone is friendly. They make you feel at home and do a wonderful job with haircuts and tanning.
They came highly recommended from others but they weren't bothered to answer the phone or return my calls to get an estimate.
Edit: Maybe I'm being slightly harsh but most companies in Vermont don't return phone calls or you never get estimates when promised. It's EXTREMELY frustrating when I spend hours doing research looking for dependable local companies and they aren't bothered to ever call back after leaving messages. Half the people I called for estimates weren't bothered to call us back (in an entire month I might add) but half of them responded to negative reviews on Google within a few hours.
I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt since your response was a masterclass at how to deal with people and sounded genuine.

Everyone I've met so far has been very nice and supportive. I took the Intro to Spin class and was moved when the instructor said, "Remember, when you walk through those doors, it's your ride!" As someone who hasn't truly exercised in over a year, I was challenged but motivated to return! There's a good thing happening at this gym!

Excellent service. They replaced one of our 10 pound fire extinguishers, and I was expecting to pay a premium price because it was delivered and installed. It ended up costing less than the same extinguisher would’ve cost at Home Depot. The service from Hunter at Vermont Fire Extinguisher has been excellent. He has serviced two of our locations now, each on two different occasions, and is knowledgeable, polite, and the pricing is fair.

I am a support driver for a bicycle touring group, beginning our first day in Burlington. Got ready to leave this morning and my Penske truck would not start...dead battery. After Roadside Assistance got involved, it was going to take 2 hours to get me help. Lucky for me, the only person that was willing to help on Sunday morning was Paul with LaRoche Towing! He called, then hurried over to jumpstart me, found an auto parts store, bought the battery and replaced it for me!!! He was amazing!!! He went above and beyond to help me get to my lunch destination in time to serve the cyclists lunch!!!! Many many thanks to Paul!!!!
