The Clothing Connection at Stafford County Public Schools teamed up with Germanna Community College to open another donation closet for those in need. We were a bit worried that we wouldn’t have enough volunteers to help move all the heavy clothing bins. But guess what? Mercy Movers heard about our situation and came to our rescue! Doug and his son showed up with their moving truck, and with a few other volunteers, they had everything loaded in just 15 minutes! Mercy Movers went above and beyond. They worked efficiently and even stayed to help us unpack and sort the clothing. I highly recommend Mercy Movers! They’re the best!

First of all I would like to give a heart felt “THANK-YOU” to the owners of Mercy Movers Doug and Rose Mannarino. From the very beginning of planning my move to Puerto Rico from Virginia they were intimately involved in the process of helping me properly prepare for the move. Although I felt some uncertainty making such a significant relocation move with my family, Rose and Doug reassured us of thier commitment through constant communication, a high level of integrity and most importantly thier prayers. Doug and his crew did an amazing job in meticulously packing all my items in brown wrapping for an international move and ensured that I was within the weight requirements to fit my budget. I’am sure that any other moving company wouldn’t have taken the time to help me adjust my weight allowance at the last minute and make recommendations to accommodate the final shipment. Not only did Mercey Mover do a phenomenal job moving my household goods for overseas shipment but they showed up with two trucks and moved my young adult son from our home to his new apartment on the same day as my pack out. The quality of service, commitment and cost savings cannot be expressed in this review but my family will be forever grateful for the smooth transition of our household goods from Virgina to Puerto Rico. Moving is the worst. Moving alone is even worse than that. I called Doug from Mercy Movers and, within moments, set up a couple of hours of services between their other jobs. At first, I thought I just needed a couple of hours. After working with Doug, Chris, & Phil, I felt that not only could I trust them with my stuff, but I felt comfortable alone in the house with them. I’ve been in situations before where that was not the case. So I called back and asked for more help. They took such great care of my stuff, never throwing or dropping down boxes (I didn’t have to worry about fragile labels at all, they treated everything as fragile), and the way they wrapped up and boxed my extra large TV was perfect. They also masterfully fit a LOT of stuff into a very small storage area! (Tetris, anyone?) Over the course of the next couple of weeks, Doug and the guys came back to help me finish things up. On the final day, I was super overwhelmed, and everything took a lot longer than I had hoped, even with three movers working nonstop. They tried to rush to finish it within the time frame and budget, but I would be stuck doing much more alone. One of Mercy Mover’s people offered to return later to assist. He helped me tie up the loose ends, pack up my truck, and took stuff to Good Will for me and I was still able to make my budget. Mercy Movers went truly above and beyond for me, and I can’t thank them enough for that. I was overwhelmed with so much going on, and they kept my spirits up, said multiple times that we were gonna get it done, and they worked HARD. I have moved well over 20 times in the last 25 years, and I have never had such great people from a company working as hard as they were. I cannot thank them or recommend them enough. Moving is hard. It’s not fun. But with a great team having your back makes it so, so much better. Thank you, Doug, Phil, and Chris at Mercy!
