Relocated to the Winchester area and this was my first visit to this urgent care; bacterial infection in my right eye. My appointment was 4:30pm on a Monday, I waited only 10 minutes, Lexi was sweet, helpful and friendly checking in, as was Heather, who took my vitals, and Charity was professional, informative and assuring. Definite 5 out of 5 stars. Will be my go to urgent care from now on.
I walked in 30 minutes before the urgent care closed on a Saturday. I got checked in at the front desk very quickly and was seen by a nurse practitioner followed by a physician. Both were very friendly and thorough. They each stuck around to hear and answer all of my questions. I left twenty minutes after they closed for the weekend but never felt like I was being rushed to get in and get out.
From the time I decided I needed to see a doctor to the time I was prescribed antibiotics was less than one hour. I spent 22 minutes in the waiting room and 27 minutes in the patient room. I had a strange rash on my chest and face. The diagnosis was exactly right: The antibiotics worked. I couldn't ask for anything more from my local urgent care. It worked exactly as it's supposed to and I didn't have to go to the ER.
