Lenny was very nice and early which was appreciated. We were first time home buyers, he seemed very thorough but after just a couple weeks we found many obvious things that were missed. The photos of the attic and thermal photos were both very blurry and somewhat inconclusive. We found several uninsulated walls that were not disclosed to us in the report or in the photos. We found some flex duct in the attic not sealed properly, if he would have had the hvac unit running when he checked the attic, I think he would have found/heard it. We paid a premium price for the inspection and just felt that some easy things were missed. We would still recommend the company.
I was purchasing a new Lu built home. On one level, I felt that the builder would catch everything. BUT I wanted to be sure. I was moving from California to Virginia and really had no idea of the services nor the costs. I went on line and did my research and decided to use Ellingwood Pro Inspections for the inspection.
The inspector was thorough and what really impressed me was that he had gotten to the house early. He finished the insperion but he waited for me to arrive to make sure that he could walk me through the process. A n excellent experience!
