I recently had Benjamin Franklin Plumbing install a water softener at my home, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The technician who did the install was fantastic — friendly, easygoing, and we ended up chatting about fishing and PC building while he worked. He tackled a tricky install spot without any issues, got everything done in a timely manner, and took the time to explain the real benefits of having a water softener — softer hair, skin, and longer-lasting appliances — which I honestly hadn't thought much about before. We were extremely pleased to discover this locally-based company when we experienced a sudden plumbing leak late Sunday afternoon. Plumber Jacob Pierce arrived within a very short time: he determined the cause and promptly returned the next day to fix it. It was an involved job on a 100-year-old house with galvanized and cast iron pipes. Jacob kept at it, working quickly to puzzle together new (and rather convoluted) pipes to solve the leak problem.
