My two girls, ages 5 and 7, really enjoy the Tigers class. My kiddoes are very free spirits but they genuinely thrive in this highly structured class whose teachers constantly inspire and enforce respect, self-control, discipline, and confidence. I appreciate the use of a senior instructor plus an assistant instructor who is closer to the students’ age to model appropriate conduct and provide peer-level mentorship. I highly value the emphasis on holistic development including both character and physical fitness. I rate this class five stars, my children give it an enthusiastic 10!

My 6yo son has been a student at KMHR for over a year now and we’re incredibly happy with his experience there. He’s able to learn self defense with an emphasis placed on respecting himself and others. His instructors there teach and demonstrate a high degree of discipline, while maintaining an age appropriate atmosphere of fun and patience. We tried another program in the Williamsburg area, but prefer the approach, space and student to instructor ratio at KMHR. We have every intention of continuing his training there for years to come, realizing the full benefit of their program. KMHR is truly incredible! The staff is truly like family, everyone can join so no one feels left out, we have been attending for close to two years now, they have taught my son so much patience, discipline, self discipline, responsibility and so much more , can not recommend this place enough!
