I'm going to my first and second year, and I really like it. I'm planning to become a member for a year. I came to the event today, but there were many people coming from other local centers as well.
We're new, but so far we love EMA for our son. It's definitely more MiagiDo than Cobra Kai :-) We tried another studio and it was loud and they had small kids hitting heavy bags and breaking boards day 1, before even teaching the correct way to stand. EMA teaches correct form, is patient with the kids, actually works on discipline, but still makes it fun. Our son loves learning Korean too.
What an incredibly supportive place for our 7yo to grow and learn taekwondo. Nothing but praise for all the staff. They are patient with the kids and truly care about how they develop their skills. He’s moved up in various tips and belts, and loves going each week.
