Started a couple months ago, so far it’s a good place to start but I have to say they are not strict enough with discipline for my liking, at least from what I have observed but my child enjoys going to class and ultimately that’s what matters at the moment. But from a constructive criticism wouldn’t hurt my feelings if they were stricter to combat the some of the parental inadequacies.And in complete fairness I have noticed a slight improvement so maybe it’s a progressive scale as the year goes on. We started with Frank and Michelle in 2005, right after we moved to Virginia. Our son had been taking classes in NY and we wanted for him to have the consistency. Little did we know that he would be diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, having adhd, and anxiety. Frank has taken the time to encourage my son and help him improve his focus so that he has completed the children's classes and is now a purple belt in the adult class. When I found Annese Martial Arts ten years ago, my original intention was to simply obtain some class information for my nine year old son. At the time, I had anger issues and felt lost motivationally. I was making my wife and family miserable. Having attended other schools in the area myself, I found that none of them were a good fit for me.
