Based on the reviews, Dr. Christopher Chang of Fauquier ENT Consultants is an extremely knowledgeable provider who is excellent at determining the cause and treatment of complex issues. He is a highly educated professional who figured out in one quick visit what numerous other providers could not. Dr. Chang is quick and to the point, with a no nonsense approach. He is a very fast paced and focused person who listens and already knew patient files at the first appointment. He ran blood and allergy tests that made sense but no one else had thought to try. He is competent, helpful, smart, and caring. Dr. Chang performed tubes and tongue/lip tie removal surgery on children. He also called back personally after appointments to make sure medicine was obtained easily. Patients have never had to wait more than five minutes for an appointment. He is a man of few words with a focus on fixing, and he is the only ENT some patients trust for their family's care. He is someone you want on your side.
After several different rounds of antibiotics including shots, and numerous providers, who couldn’t figure out why my son continued to have so many ear, sinus, or throat infections over a short period of time, Dr Chang figured it out in one quick visit. We went to Dr Chang who quick surmised exactly what was going on. He ordered bloodwork which confirmed his suspicions and an easy fix afterwards. Extremely knowledgeable provider.
Like most people, I dread going to the Doctor. I knew I had something going on in my throat that was not normal. I looked up local ENT's and found Dr. Chang. After reading a few negative reviews I was unsure but did not feel like driving far for something I did not want to do anyway. My first appointment went far more in depth than I had planned and honestly I am glad I did not know what he was going to do because if I did I probably would not have gone. He is quick and to the point, which I appreciate. He gave me his honest opinion and told me to come back in two weeks for a follow up. The item to remember about doctor's is that bedside manner is not how to rate a doctor. Dr. Chang is highly educated and excellent at determining the cause and treatment. It may not be presented in the manner that you choose but it is coming from a professional with your best interest in mind.
